EA Retreats

Strengthening the partnership that drives leadership success.

A strong EA function is never just about managing tasks.

It sits at the centre of how a business operates -  shaping communication, protecting focus, and keeping leadership moving in the right direction.

The EA Retreat is designed to step back from the day-to-day and look at how the role is actually working, not how it is written on paper.

This is focused development for Executive Assistants and administrative professionals who want to operate with more clarity, structure, and confidence in their role.

Across a small, high-touch retreat setting, individuals have space to reflect, reset and work directly on the way they manage priorities, pressure, and communication inside their role.

When this is strengthened, everything else becomes more stable.

Workflows become clearer.
Decision-making improves.

And the impact of the role becomes more intentional and effective from the inside out.

What the EA Retreat looks like

This is a 3-day, small-group retreat for 2-3 Executive Assistants or Admin Professionals.

The structure is intentionally designed to balance focused 1:1 time, individual working blocks, and short group sessions that bring clarity and perspective without overloading the day.

You’re not sitting in back-to-back training sessions. Most of the time is spent working on your own role in a quiet, considered environment, with access to direct input from Nina throughout the retreat.

Across the 3 days, each participant has multiple 1:1 sessions focused on the practical reality of their role - how work is being managed, where pressure is building, how decisions are being made, and what needs to be simplified or strengthened.

Between these sessions, there is structured individual time to work through guided prompts, reflect on your current way of operating, and map out changes that can be applied immediately.

Short group sessions are used to regroup, compare themes, and bring clarity to shared challenges across EA roles, without needing to over-explain individual context.

The setting is quiet and private, with all accommodation and meals included. It is designed to remove external demands so attention stays on the work being done inside the retreat.

By the end of the 3 days, each participant has a clearer view of their role, a more structured way of working, and practical adjustments ready to take back into their day-to-day environment.

About Nina

I’m Nina Hoven - entrepreneur, mentor and co-founder of Three bird EMPIRE.

Over the years I’ve worked across leadership, wellbeing and workplace performance, supporting both individuals and organisations to improve how they operate day to day. I’ve also designed development programs, retreats and mentoring that focus on real-world application, not theory.

EA Retreats are a space I’ve created specifically for Executive Assistants and administrative professionals, because I know how central the role is to how a business actually functions.

I understand the pressure the role carries.
The constant shifting of priorities.

The expectation to stay across everything while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

My approach is practical, grounded and direct. We look at what is actually happening in your role, what needs to change, and how to make that change realistic inside a busy working environment.

This is focused, real-world development for people who want more clarity, structure and confidence in how they operate day to day within their role.

How the Retreat is Structured

This is a structured working retreat, designed around individual focus, 1:1 time with Nina, and short group sessions that bring clarity and alignment across shared themes.

Day 1 ~ Arrival and role clarity

The first day is about settling in and stepping out of the day-to-day pace of work.

We focus on understanding your current role as it actually operates - where your time is going, what is taking most of your attention, and where pressure tends to build. It’s a clear look at the reality of the role, not the

version on paper.

There is space to ease into the environment, connect with the group, and begin shaping the focus for the days ahead.

Day 2 ~ Performance in role and individual focus

This is the core working day of the retreat.

Each participant has multiple 1:1 sessions with Nina focused on how they are currently operating in their role -  including decision-making, communication, workload management, and handling competing priorities.

Between 1:1 sessions, there is structured individual work time to reflect, map insights, and make practical adjustments to how work is being approached.

Short group touchpoints are used to bring together key themes and highlight shared patterns across EA roles.

Day 3 ~ Wellbeing and integration

The final day focuses on sustainability in the role and how performance is maintained over time.

We look at the connection between sleep, stress, boundaries, and day-to-day effectiveness, with a practical lens on what can realistically be applied back in a working environment.

There is also time for individual consolidation ~ pulling together insights from the retreat and defining clear next steps for how you return to work.

Is this the right next step for you?

Your role sits at the centre of how things run - how work flows, how priorities are managed, and how leadership is supported day to day. When it’s working well, everything feels clearer.

When it’s not, the pressure is constant and often unspoken.

This retreat is designed for Executive Assistants and administrative professionals who are ready to step out of that cycle and look at how they are currently operating - with the time and space to make practical changes that actually hold when they return to work.

If you’re ready to get clearer on your role, strengthen how you work, and build more structure into your day-to-day, this is where that work happens.

Applications are intentionally kept small to maintain focus and depth across the 3 days.

If you’d like more information, or support in how to approach this with your executive or organisation, please email me directly and I can talk you through the best way to position it internally and get approval in place.

Are you ready to take the next step?

Let's talk.
