EA Retreats & Mentoring with Nina

Strengthening the partnership that drives leadership success.

Two ways this work is delivered.

Choose your focus.

EA Retreats

A strong EA function is never just about managing tasks.

It sits at the centre of how a business operates - shaping communication, protecting focus, and keeping leadership moving in the right direction.

The EA Retreat examines how the role is functioning inside a live business environment, not how it is defined on paper.

This is structured development for Executive Assistants and administrative professionals operating in complex roles where consistency, communication, and decision-making matter.

Work is explored through real examples of how priorities, pressure, and communication are currently being managed.

Work becomes more structured.
Decision-making becomes more consistent.
The role operates with greater intent.

EA Mentoring with Nina

Behind every effective leader is a highly capable, trusted right-hand person. EA Mentoring strengthens this working relationship through structured, ongoing development.

This is designed for Executive Assistants and senior administrative professionals working inside fast-moving environments where judgement, communication, and execution are critical.

The focus is how capability is applied in real time - not theory, but live decision-making and delivery.

Communication sharpens.
Priorities become clearer.
Execution becomes more consistent.

The EA Approach

Both EA Retreats and EA Mentoring sit within the same development framework.

The focus is the EA function inside a business - how it operates, communicates, and supports leadership performance in practice.

One examines structure and functioning.
The other focuses on live application.

Together, they strengthen both capability and execution within the role.

EA Retreats

3-day working retreat for 2-3 Executive Assistants or administrative professionals.

A structured environment designed around individual focus, 1:1 sessions with Nina, and short group sessions that highlight shared challenges across EA roles.

It is not a training environment. Most of the time is spent working directly on your own role in a quiet, structured setting, supported by targeted input throughout.

Across the 3 days, each participant takes part in multiple 1:1 sessions focused on the practical reality of their role - including workload distribution, decision-making, communication flow, and pressure points within the working environment.

Between sessions, structured individual working time is used to review current practices, map insights, and make practical adjustments to how work is being managed.

Short group sessions are used to surface common themes and provide context without requiring detailed personal explanation.

The setting is private, quiet, and fully supported, with accommodation and meals included to remove external demands during the program.

By the end of the retreat, each participant has a clearer understanding of how their role is functioning, practical adjustments already mapped, and a more structured way of operating moving forward.

EA Mentoring with Nina

12-month structured mentoring program designed around you - your goals, your development, capability, and leadership influence.

The program begins with a personalised assessment to identify strengths, development areas, and opportunity gaps.

From there, development is structured through:

Foundation Session
Establishing the mentoring relationship and define focus areas for development.

Monthly Mentoring
Ongoing sessions to refine approach, review challenges, and maintain momentum.

Strategic Planning
Development of a structured plan aligned to your role, responsibilities and career direction.

Ongoing Support
Access to guidance between sessions when situations require input or direction.

This program provides practical strategies that can be applied immediately, support for complex and fast-moving environments, and structured accountability to maintain progress over time.

It is designed to strengthen how you operate - not just what you manage.

The focus is progression in capability, judgement, and influence within your role.

Who Is Nina?

I’m Nina Hoven - entrepreneur, mentor and co-founder of Three bird EMPIRE.

My work focuses on leadership, workplace performance, and the role wellbeing plays in how people operate inside high-responsibility environments.

Over the years, I’ve worked across leadership programs, industry events, and professional development spaces, bringing a practical, real-world lens to how people work, communicate, and lead within organisations.

I understand the EA function sits at the centre of this - often shaping how leadership operates, even when it’s not formally recognised.

The pressure.
The influence.
The responsibility that sits behind the scenes.

My approach is practical, structured, and direct. The focus is on how things actually operate day to day, and what needs to shift to strengthen impact in role.

If you’re ready to strengthen your impact within leadership - this is your space.
